Wrapping up warm

With August coming to an end the winter warmers are making an appearance in the shops and catwalks, meaning its time to update your wardrobe with something a little more thicker!

Colours get bolder, furs get funky and designers mashed up there style and suddenly felt dotty on the runway this season, with practical items which still keep you looking good.

Looking back to last winter, Alexander Wang kicked off his outwear cat walk with bomber/cape parkas, which were also heavily featured on many runways and designer shopping destinations. A statement coat is guaranteed to make you stand out from any crowd, while keeping you warm and prepared for the Great British weather. With various different styles and colours of parkas hitting the nations high street, now is the time to get yours before the rest of your friends do! Play it safe in this Khaki green parka which is featured on DesignerClothing.com, from designer brand Juicy Couture.

Polka dots have been seen on many celebs this season, and its safe to say that they'll be a longstanding trend which can be extremely versatile. As Stella McCartney and Marc Jacobs highlighted you can wear bold polka dots, or something a little more subtle, from Stella’s hand sewn embroidered sequin disk dress to Marc's whole spotted outfit. From hats to hosiery, you cant miss them. This perfect pair of Polka Dot tights by Wolford can be found here on DesignerClothing.com.

To keep the chill off you on your nights out, and cover up more than usual, go for tuxedos. If you need proof of this winning look, take a peek at Pheoebe Philo and Kirsten Dunst in their tuxes at 2011 CFDA Awards. If its good enough for them, its certainly good enough for us! Pair up a sharp tux jacket with a pair off fitted trousers and courts, which will make going to work a stylish affair, while still looking professional.

At DesignerClothing.com you'll find designers such as Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney and many, many more.

An inside look into A/W 2011 trends

It may still be technically Summer, but with the weather showing no signs of getting better, we're already thinking about what to add to our wardrobes this Autumn/Winter. We've rounded up a couple of the top trends to keep your eye on this season to give you a head start.

First up colour blocking, a great way to give yourself an instant mood lift while keeping your outfit bang on trend. For a subtle addition to your wardrobe, go for brightly coloured jeans or trousers, which can be toned down with a plain top, or brightened up even futher with a showstopping blouse and killer block heels. If you prefer going more girlish look, a bold formal dress or a floral number is perfect, with opaque tights, and chunky sandals to complete your style. If your going for wintry shades aim for mustard and tea, or to stand out from the crowd go for shocking pinks, green and orange.

Since returning to acting, Camilla Belle has hit her stride. After running away from dinosaurs in Jurassic Park The Lost World and kidnapped in 10,000BC. Camilla Belle is stealing this trend with her colour block outfit, her top designer by Gucci. Which you can find some more of Gucci designs on DesignerClothing.com. Top marks. This pic sums up this style to a tee.

Second up, the tomboy! For a long time, there has been a fine line between masuline and feminine fashion, and this fine line can be well and truely crossed for the A/W 2011 season. Low slung trousers, crisp white shirts and waistcoats were all seen on the runways at this year's biggest fashion shows, and this can be be simply incorporated into your wardrobe. Team with chunky heels for a spohisticated night time style, or flat brogues for an effortless day look.

Ready for when the snow starts to fall, chunky knits will be making a welcomed return to the shops this season. Accessorise your knits with a beret hat and a thick scarf to look stylish yet stay warm this winter.

Here at DesignerClothing.com we've got everything that you need to make it through the A/W 2011 season, take a look on site today for a huge range of designer clothing from over 100 online stores.

Final Goodbyes on Trafalgar Square

After 8 films and ten years of working as a team, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 finally has drawn to a close. There was tears, smiles, and relief for fans as the movie everyone’s been waiting for premiered in London.

All the stars showed up to the premier in beautiful outfits. Emma Watson wore with pride her dress designed by Oscar De La Renta, which followed the pastel colours trend. Emma accompanied her dress with a jacket by Antonio Berardi, to keep her warm in the unpredcitable English weather. This girl has certainly been doing her shopping because later that week at the New York in the states première off the film she wore a stunning Bottega Venta Dress.

Fellow Actress Helena Bonham Carter, who is known for her usually bizarre red carpet choices, decided to keep it elegant and simple with a Vivienne Westwood long black gown. It wasn’t fully toned down as she wore a flowery pink hair piece, desperate to not ruin her reputation.

The brains behind Harry Potter wore a modest pink and green rose print dress by Oscar de la Renta, which was previously seen on Rihanna in red and white at the BRITs earlier this year.

Not forgetting the boys, who turned up in elegant suits and ties, many sizes bigger compared to the first début back in 2001. Daniel Radcliffe went for a Simon Spurr grey sleek suit which made him look everypart the celebrity actor.

Here at DesignerClothing.com we feature over 60,000 designer items for men, women and children, including Oscar de la Renta, Vivienne Westwood and Antonio Berardi.
